it's because he had a
[ td][ /td][ tr][ /tr] (minus the spaces)

in the middle of it

I just clicked all the buttons and smilies(started with [ b] [ /b] en ended with [ flash=200,200]URL[ /flash]), didn't do anything else...

In theory, even if you have a messed up table structure, shouldn't it all be contained within a <table></table> and not affect everything else?....
