Stop users deleting their own posts

I am using 1.3.1...

is there an easy way to stop users deleting their own posts??

This subject has been discussed many times. It is a basic philosophy of the YaBB boards that users are allowed to modify and delete their own posts. Furthermore to disable deletion of posts does not have much effect as long as people are allowed to modify them. You would have to disable the "edit" button as well.

I found a thread on "time limit"...

My users now have 60mins to edit/modify their posts...

You can also set it so that users can't delete the first post of a thread. It can be found in Installed Mods and Settings.

One of my board members has the habitude to just replace subject and text by "-", so you see the delete protection does not help at all as long as modification is allowed ...
