I am getting the following errors when trying to convert Yabb Gold SP 1.1 to a working version of Yabb SE

What is strange is that it shows it keeps looking for converter.php at /home/www/techtalkforums/forums/converter.php

However, this file is located at /home/techtalkforums/www/forums/converter.php

YABB SE IS LOCATED AT /home/techtalkforums/www/forums

YABB GOLD IS LOCATED AT /home/techtalkforums/www/forums/temp

All files and directories in Yabb Gold are chmoded to 777
Converter.php was uploaded in ASCII and is also chmoded to 777

PLEASE HELP !!

P.S. The converter.php script seemed to have no problem emptying my database of any posts that WERE in there !! (It just neglected to refill it again)

No, whats wrong is that you're specifying the wrong directory. It is in fact:

/home/www/techtalkforums/forums/

and NOT

/home/techtalkforums/www/forums/

The error indicates that is in fact the case:

"No such file or directory in /home/www/techtalkforums/forums/converter.php on line 244"

That error is returned by PHP and it is giving you the real directory...try converting your Y1G stuff using that path instead...

Figured it out ...

It turns out the problem was because I had the paths to the old Yabb boards as /Boards, /Members, etc ... not realizing that when I ftp'd them, they were automatically converted to /boards, /members (lower case directories)
