I don't know why..but your new updated mod seems to generate the error on Memberlist.php. it might be BoardMod bug.. I fixed it myself now.

Anyway, I don't see anything appearing in new MemberList.

I just installed the mod with Boardmod and I have a few questions:

When I try to set it to enable Posts per day and Enable % of Posts in Memberlist, it doesn't save my settings. And I get this error when I try to view the memberlist:

QuoteParse error: parse error in /home/irmerjo1/htdocs/forum/Sources/Memberlist.php on line 260

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mlall() in /home/irmerjo1/htdocs/forum/index.php on line 163

Somehow it doesn't calculate the Posts per day correctly. Most of my users have  a negative amount of posts per day while some have over 347 posts per day.

Note: I didn't install on a clean board, but the installation didn't give me any errors apart from the space errors.

What went wrong?

Mcguire, i think this mod really has a problem.

I don't have any mod that did anything with Memberlist.php I can't even undo the process..
I will do only the step in PostPerday in profile. This might happen because your Search String is too short. please check

please fix it for us.. Thanks

Just so you know, on the board it says date registered: April , 2002, 02:16:33 pm

it doesn't have the day.  I'm not sure if it's from your mod or not.

ments? there are four adjustments to the db...

Well, I dunno what, but something went wrong.

1. Here's the code from memberlist.php.
print <<<EOT
                                  </tr>
EOT;
}
print <<<EOT

EOT;
        }
                        </tr>

EOT;
        }

        print $TableFooter;

Even if I remove this part:

print <<<EOT

EOT;
        }

, I still get a parse error. Maybe you could tell me what's wrong there.

2. What I meant when I said it was showing negative numbers was this:

Some members have 370 or 250 or whatever posts per day. The numbers are way to high. And some members have -248 or whatever posts per day. I think it doesn't really use the day people registered to get to the number of posts per day.

3. Yes, I did download the latest version.

4. Hmm, apart from Addmoresmilies I don't have any mods installed. I customised recent.php, but as your mod doesn't touch it, there shouldn't be any problems there.

I'd really appreciate any help because this is one fine mod and I'd love to have it running on my board.

Thanks

Sorry I Been Away So Long I Was To Busy Out Processing I Have Fixed This Error...

I think it doesn't really use the day people registered to get to the number of posts per day.

Yes It Does I Am 100% Sure This Mod Is Bug Proof The Reason I Say This Is Because This Mod UsesTimeStamps

I Used The Users Time Stamp In The Db minus the aCTUAL TIMESTAMP current divided by the users posts.. I Have Tested This And It Works Without A Doubt

the time stamp difference is given back in days so if you divide the post count by the days you will get posts per day :)  ... i will still look into this thanx for being patient

Hi again,

ok I removed the part you asked me to remove and I can now access the memberlist. But somehow it's screwed up, all it's showing me is a lot of black.

Also, I still get negative and unrealistically high posts per day. I didn't mean to suggest that the fault was with your mod. I am sure it works perfectly on other boards. I guess there is just some incompability issue with my board because of some changes I made. I didn't make many changes though, so I don't know what went wrong.

If you take a look at my board and view some members' profiles, you'll see what I mean.

I appreciate your help. Take your time, I'm sure you have more important things to do than help every little user that installs your mod - unless you happen to be a millionaire and bored out of your mind  ;)

Anyways, if you could take a look at my board I'd really be happy. Or maybe I can send you the files that your mod modifies and you can try to find the mistake in the sourcecode.

[EDIT]Just thought of something. Could it be that the negative numbers and high posts per days stem from the fact that I have changed the time format in the forums settings? My current settings are:

%d. %B %Y, %H:%M

Just a thought, probably a stupid one. What is the default time format?[/EDIT]

[EDIT2]Nope, that wasn't it. I almost thought so. But I noticed something else. I get the following error when trying to view some profiles:

Quote2: Division by zero
(/home/irmerjo1/htdocs/forum/Sources/Profile.php ln 796)

And no, the users where this error occurs have not just registered. They have been members for months. [/EDIT2]

ok here are the source files from my test board that i have edited...  :)

[source files]

showing me is a lot of black.The Table Color Responds To Your Table Colors...  You Need To Edit Them Accordingly.. I Dot Think This Shouldve Done Much To Your Color Scheme Because It Uses The

<td class="windowbg" bgcolor="$color[windowbg]">$percentoftotalposts</td>
            <td class="windowbg2" bgcolor="$color[windowbg2]"><font size=2>$mpperday</font>&nbsp;</td>

And This Is Defined In AYour CSS Template ..

Hm.. I Can Really Say On This One Sounds Awful Weird To Me I Am Looking INto This One As We Speak

Can I Have The Link To Your Site?

Just thought of something. Could it be that the negative numbers and high posts per days stem from the fact that I have changed the time format in the forums settings? My current settings are:

%d. %B %Y, %H:%M

No Because My Mod Converts Your Date Registered As You Can See From Here

if ($modSettings['mpostsperday'] == 1 ) {

     $currentdate= date("F j, Y");
     $curtimestamp = time();
     $formtime = strftime("%d %R", $curtimestamp);
     $usersjointime = strftime("%d %R",  $memsettings[14]);
    $daysjoined = $formtime - $usersjointime; // Days Joined
  if ($daysjoined <= 1) { // User has been a member for less than one day.
    $mpperday = $row[posts];
  } else {
    $mpperday = sprintf("%.2f",($row[posts] / $daysjoined));
  }

}

It Takes The Number Of Days From Your Timestamp Given In The Db and converted to number of actual days .. So I Think By You Changin Your Time Format Wil not Affect It....

2: Division by zero
(/home/irmerjo1/htdocs/forum/Sources/Profile.php ln 796)

 The Reason You Get Division By Zero Is Either If The Person Is New Or He Doesnt Have A Registration Date...or you have an error in your code.. the above example is actially part of my code that i use for this to work..

[my site]

you will have to register to see the mod in work this is how its supposed to look...

 :)

What if I have members from a converted YaBB Gold board, will the timestamp not match the orginal join date?

And if there isn't a join date in their profile this will not work?  I think my members have them, maybe a few that don't though.

Hm.. Im Not Sure On That One.. I Think There Different And So I Dont Believe They Will Be Compliant..

Also Just Assign Them A Registration Date.. By Default If he Users Has Just Joined His Post Count Will Be His Posts Perday For The First 24hours Then It Starts To Divide Its Posts Counts With The Days He Has Been Registered  :)
