lol. It's a quick fix and we have gone over it a few times. Your problem is with the package manager. Sometimes it decideds not to do the last file.
So, download your subs.php file. Now, open smilies.mod and near the bottom are these tags:
<edit>
Sources/Subs.php
</edit>
The next two changes you'll have to do manually. Search for the code give and do what the mod says. Easy.

probably another n00b question, but i get errors step 9 and 11, both conserning Post.php

Here we are, 18 pages into this mod, and here it is. The question I just wished wouldn't come up. Oh well. - You have modified your Post.php with other mods, obviously which aren't compatible with Smilies SE - I cannot help you or give you support on the matter. Sorry.

ehe i need also a bit help this is what is see when i try to install it with boardmod.

- That's something to do with write access. Sure you CHMODed your dirs correctly? Also, please don't use the pacman version, use the BoardMod version to ensure success.

BigP: one of my forum members who browses at 1600x1200 was complaining that he couldn't resize the smilies window. I checked the code in Post.php and noticed that the option to make the window resizable was called "resize". According to http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/workshop/author/dhtml/reference/methods/open_0.asp it should be "resizable". I renamed it, and I can now resize the window. Just thought I'd let you know, only a minor issue.

BoardMod can't be simpler, read readme.htm. It's very easy.

Erm, that's done deliberately, so you can't resize a popup window, that's why you get to set the height and width. I could allow people to resize windows, do you all want that?

Okay, the mod for 1.4.1 is just about complete and it cuts down the number of queries used in 2 areas (Wasn't necessary), plus a few other fixes from little mistakes (nothing huge).
I hope to have a fully working PacMan version too, but by the way PacMan is going, it may be unlikely..

when i add smiles and click save changes none of the smiles are saved. does anyone know wats wrong

What version did you install? Boardmod or yabbpak? Did you run smiliesdbmod.php as instructed if you installed with boardmod?

i did the boardmod version and yes i ran the smiliesdbmid.php and also when i ran it is said Error updating the DB. SQL Error: Table 'yabbsmilies' already exists
