Here is your chance to join the Mod Team! We are trying to get reorganized and need your help. We are looking for experience users who understand PHP coding.

You will be responsible in helping us build guide lines and policy on creating mods for YaBB SE. You be helping to review submitted mods for excessive queries, codes that touch to many areas of original files, bugs, and more, before allowing it to be an approved "completed" mod. Working with mod creators in answering questions on mod creation and packaging.

We need reliable people to volunteer. If you are interested, please respond to this post, and tell us why you think you are qualified to help, and leave some contact info, and we will get back to you.

Hey Nemesis, I'm fairly new to php but have been programming in C and perl for awhile. Although I just recently switched to YaBBSE I've been using Perl Yabb for quite awhile and am fairly knowledgable of the code base. I've already made one mod (and wonder how compatible it is). I would be interested in helping you folks moderate the mods. I believe php is the future and would like to help shape it.

That's it just one person guys come on! We need a good crew. I know there are more PHP knowledgable peeps out there. If we don't get a good crew we won't have a mod team. You know what that means... Without a team we are not going have our own mod site like the yabb boardmod site. Mods will be made with too many queries and bugs. We need your help! So post why you think you make a good addition to our mod team.

So your word can be used.. Perl can be CGI language... and it can be best in some aspects, but not every aspect.

I always think of CGI as a group of languages that sits between the client and web server. So Perl, compiled C and C++, languages like that.
