The cure cancer agent only uses 18KB data files so I don't think it needs to access the hard drive :)

Greg, well.. you may be right.. But I don't think so.. The agent should save the analyzed data frequently, so you wouldn't lose 1 whole hour of analysist if your computer crash or something.. Don't you think so??

For SETI@Home, it saves the data every 1 minute.

To bring this back into focus, we've got a total of 34 current members, with the winner currently touting 4,151 points and they've only been a member for 10 days.  It's still possible to win, and it's still possible to make a difference so don't hesitate to join :)

For the cause, I decided to start my own team to harness the power of a seemingly untapped wealth of CPU power. I started the PoserHeads team aimed at the CG community. (We need those rendering boxes running UD when they are not drawing pictures)

In a little over a week we have aquired 25 members and have generated 63,000 points.  Very cool!

Thanks to the YaBB community for turning me on to this great cause.

I guess I could install it on a couple more computers around my office... I jusr didn't want to be greedy.   And installing it on NT is a pain in the butt!   ;D
