HrM .. Nope .. i even tried replacing my code with yours and i dont get a searchnew button .. or even a blank space where there should be a button ;(

Ok so now i have a searchnew button .. which when i click .. returned every post on my board even though i have them all read  anyway i assume that will adjust in time now that i marked them all as read ..

my primary concern right now is what text color variable are these using ?  My text for the returned posts is black .. on a black background .. obviously not working very well

One thing that I noticed on my RC37 version..

I normally login as admin using IE.  I created a dummy account and visited the boards via Netscape.  The messages that I marked to ignore via Search New as admin didn't show up for the dummy account.

Then, I marked some messages as read in the dummy account, went over to my admin account, and they had been marked read as well.  

Are the settings for what's been read/ignored for everyone the same, so if one person ignores it, everyone has to ignore it?

Or is this problem a result of me wanting to use this program before it has been updated for my YaBBSE version (not to mention that the full YaBBSE version  is not out yet anyway)..  ?

I just need to know what color var i need to change that affects the color of the "text" of the new msgs found in searchnew ..

I wasn't quite for sure before, but now I'm positive that there's a problem.  It's not storing the read and ignored preferences for individuals individually. When one person selects to ignore a thread, everyone has to ignore that thread.

Has anyone else had this problem or know of a solution?

When I click the "all read" button, it works for everybody !  Not for 1 individual......

OK, I have the (a) solution :

replace all this :

membername -> ID_MEMBER
$membername -> $ID_MEMBER

It works for me

It DOES store the read and ignored preferences individually, but not for 1.51. It does work in 1.41 fine. I think a tiny modification in the SearchNew.php should be the solution - is somewhere here who could solve the problem?

Just do as I said in one of the previous replies.

Or just try the .zip in this message.

This mod doesn't take in account the Yabb beacons, if I put a message in hid I see this message without having need of mailed.
