Moving Server have a question

Do to an ISP change I need to temporarily move my YaBB SE 1.3 board to a temporary host, not being overly familair with MySQL  whats the best way to go about exporting the database and importing it into the new server?

I appreciate any suggestions

if you have phpmyadmin you can create a dump file of the structure and data.  Then import that on the temp host.

1 other wrinkle, i used the default db name on my original install, the new host will not let me do that so what steps do I need to take?

you'll need to change the $db_name in settings.php

I'm thinking about moving servers once mine expires, but I haven't got phpmyadmin.  What would I need to do?
