Yabb in Flash - Displaying User's Online, Post's ect in Flash

Just a recent small Hack.  Was wondering if it was Mod worthy.  And how I would go about writing a Mod.

I added a little bit so you can display the User's Online, Guest's Online, Members, Post's, etc etc.  On any Page - And not just any page - but any Page in Macromedia Flash.  An example would be the Top of this page:

(Notice how it's all Flash but you can view all the Board User's who are online Up top).  

Might be interesting.  The same concept can be done in any HTML page.  

Also added MSN Capabilities, but that's already been done a bunch - I'm not sure if their is a Mod for that with the SE version of Yabb though.  

Working on quite a few more small Mods as well.

Also Just wanted to Thank Yabb for making the best Board ever built.

I should also note that it would be really easy to make this a "LIVE" who's Online feature.  Meaning that you can just sit back and watch who is coming and going to your site with out having to refresh.  All that would need to be added is a real simple Loop.

Their would be no need for a Page Refresh.  It might cause a bit of strain on your server though, depending on how often you want to refresh the information.  As I just mentioned - their is no need to refresh the Page for this to work - but you will need to continuosly call the script that gets all the info for you - the you can Load that into Flash without having to refresh the Browser.  If it's every minute or so I don't think it would be that bad.

Anyone else think it might be interesting.

All you'd have to do, I should think, would be to use the new SSI.php include function from 1.1.0 to view online users, and put that in a loop in flash.

Jeff, do you know how to include PHP or HTML code in a Flash movie? I ask because I do not, but would be interested in learning.

I havn't seen the SSI.php thing.  All I did was to include 1 or 2 simple SQL commands then print the result when that's finished.  That is what is returned to Flash.  I can post that code here if wanted.  It's not really a Mod but an add-on as it is a seperate script.
