I've always wondered if maybe the wealth of interesting Poster info you can view on the left side of each post may in fact be too much. And I've tossed around the idea of redoing that somehow.

Maybe someone could write a mod that lets the majority of the info on the left popup in a JS window. (This would of course require a seperate javascript file.. and I happen to be using just such a file, courtesy of Joe Adams, of Outersurf.Com.)

Maybe it could also be an option in the admin panel or even in users' profile settings...

Poster Info Display Mode:
- Show All in Post
- Popup Post Info
- Show Minimum Info
- Preview Style Post View (Poster Only)

This would let people customize their display significantly. It could really be a lot of work though.

I agree. I've removed a few things by hand (# of posts). Having all the info at the side should be an option since you can easily click on a users name and get all the same information.

Good idea. Only with custom title, member group and position you can fill three lines. Really annoying if post is only few lines long.

It's also a bit annoying if your not using images.
