Idea from German forums

An idea from the German forums, where I am a moderator -
add a tag for a URL in the same window, i.e. no target=_blank. The tag could be [surl]. Would be handy for links within the site, when you want the link to open in the same window rather than in a new window, or a link to another thread or something. I really like the idea and it shouldn't be too hard to implement.

I understood the idea from this german member a little different: he wishes to have an easy link to other posts in the same forum, and was suggesting this not opening in a new window. Like this: bordlink=99999 where 99999 is the number of the linked post.

I don't think, that the easylink feature was in Blackies mind, but it's not a bad idea anyway.
As far as i understood it, he wants to be able to set links to sites/other threads, that open in the same window.

I think Curios and I are right :-) I think he was just using the link to another thread as an example, because he said "wenn man "interne Links" setzen könnte (z.B. auf ein anderes Thema oder innerhalb der selben Website), so dass sich bei Klick kein neues Fenster öffnen würde (also ohne target="_blank")"

(For those that don't speak German - "if one could set "internal links" [for example, to another theme or inside the same website], so that no new window is opened when one clicks the link, that is, no target="_blank"")

So I think he just wanted the option to kill the target="_blank", i.e. an "internal link", not necessarily a link to a topic number but perhaps a link to the downloads page or something else in the same website.

Sounds like a good and easy option. I don't really need nor want it, but I'm sure plenty would.
