i'll think this would be great.  I normaly  use mysqladmin to backup..  But i just got PHP-nuke 5.4,  and it has an script who let me backup my db  with just one button..

the script is here  if somone want to look at it......

Dev Team is already working on a backup feature, but probably it will not be in manteinance release because at this time it can't work with safe mode servers.

Anyway.. I do want to find a good way to backup my database... I'll check this script out and see if it would be useful.

Oh, and Leo -- the "here" link for the script I'm supposed to check out is missing an "http://" in the URL -- it tries to take me to http://www.yabb.info/community/www.granddanois.com/leo/backup.php.txt instead of http://www.granddanois.com/leo/backup.php.txt

[Edit - someone edited my message to take out the www.yabb.info/community part of the first url there... i changed it back because i intended it to be that way in order to express my point. Hopefully i have clarified things by adding the correct URL after it.]

hmm   thats why the board destroy my links    

i got several episodes when my board, add its own url to the url I writes..  Well i guess I have to learn to put in the http also...(  no god that i'm so lazy *lol*)

Is there possible to get the backup function  for the non safe servers,   would be nice to test it
