Error 500 @ Convertion

Hello!

I installed YaBBSE successfully on my webspace (Puretec). Now if I try to convert my old YaBB Gold Final 1 I am able to reach Step 4, where I can see the Users etc.
But if want to go on, it works for a long time and then I get an error 500.
It seems that the converter only converts a part of my old YaBB...
Can anyone help me?

I'm getting the same Error with YaBBSE on my Server (host:Schlund&Partner - your host, Puretec uses the same technology... Puretec is 100% owned by Schlund)

I wanted to wait until the Maintainence Release (coming quite soon, AFAIK *g*) and try to convert my Board again... if it doesn't work, I wanted to add a Logging-Feature to the Converter and see where it crashes...

Probably someone knows why it happens.... otherwise you have to wait until I find the bug *g*

it's possible that the set_time_limit function is disalowed by your host and it's timing out...

I only see one solution:
I download all my old files, install the yabbse at my local computer and then I will convert my files. The only problem is that all paths are wrong...

Edit:
Is it able to split the work time for the converter?
I saw a limit for the work time: 6 secs...
Thats not very much

This is not a problem. Look:
The following restrictions are technically determined:

- processes may stress max. 6 seconds of computing time
- processes may occupy max. 10 megabyte of memory
- max. 12 processes may run at the same time

During exceeding one of the restrictions specified above " is killed " the script. This makes itself by a " Internal server error (HTTP 500) " or more later by the error message " cgi of limit reached, please try! " noticeably.
