I got one yabb up and running like i want it, and 1 test yabb, if i change the database info in the test yabb, to the same database on the other, will it get all user, board etc. like the other one...
What I want is 2 boards with different layout, but with same users,same boards and same post..

I would like to try it out but is a little afraid that I'll make changes to the good one if somthing goes wrong..

You can have 2 forums on one DB. as long as each has the same features and options enabled, you should be ok.

hmm, it might be ok with different features like if you had the karma mod on 1 board and not the other It would not be affected.

And to your question, yes it u use the same database and the same prefix it will work.
