In the german forum is a thread opened since several days.
http://www.yabb.info/community/index.php?board=145;action=display;threadid=2910The guy tries to install SE since several days and has lots of strange errors. His main problem is that the template.html executes somehow incorrect, there are always "\" characters inserted into the screen.
Now he is trying to install again, and now during the installation process, error messages arise blaming "\" characters:
Inserting data package 2
Errors: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '\\\'0\\\', ID_BOARD tinyint(4) NOT NULL auto_increment, name tinytext NOT NULL' at line 1
Please have a look at his phpinfo, under this link:

I can translate back the answer into german if necessary.
Maybe you can have a look at the german post, reading the error messages only?
