Number of posts not changing for one user

YaBB SE Version: 1.5.5

Problem Description:
Hello-

One of my users was having trouble logging in, so I deleted her account, and created a new one with the same username.  I then went into the database, and replaced her previous user number with the new one.

Now, almost everything works correctly.  If you click her name on one of her posts, her profile shows up.  However, her number of posts showed up as 0.

I went back into the database and put the correct number of posts, and it showed up fine.  However, she has posted twice since then, and the number hasn't changed.  When you click the "show the last 50 posts" button on her profile, it lists all 11 of her posts, but on the left it says she has 9 posts.

Obviously, I'm missing a piece of this puzzle.  Can anyone tell me what it is?

Thanks

Go into the "create/edit/delete boards" section of the admin center and uncheck the posts count 0 check box for the boards and save them.

That features makes it so posts in that specific board don't increase the post count. You will have to manually add the extra 2 posts to her count, because all this does is make it so that when she posts it will go up for now.

So many times, I'm risking carpal tunnel.  Also tried repair, and said yes even when it said there were no problems.

Quoteuncheck the posts count 0 check box for the boards and save them.

I only have one area that posts count 0.  She doesn't post there.

Well, this problem isn't fixing itself.

I checked her today, and it says she has 20 posts under her name in each of her individual posts.

It also says she has 20 posts when I look at her profile.

However, when I click the "View the last 50 posts for this person", 22 show up.

This seems like a pretty straight-forward database bield issue, but I sure can't find it!

Anyone?

Hmm, alright... can you tell me:
- what browser and OS this person is using.
- if any other members are having this problem.
- if I can use her account (with temporary password) to test it - or if it only happens with her.

Hello unknown-

I really don't think the problem is related to her OS or her browser.  I think it's a problem due to my actions in myphpadmin, when I tried to connect existing posts to a new account.  There must be some database link that I missed somewhere.

If I go in and change the number of posts in her record in the member's table, the change shows up, but when she posts, it stays at zero.

No other users are exeriencing this, and she is the only one I've attempted this with.  If you still need her login info, let me know, and I'll send you and IM with it.

Thanks

The fact is, there isn't any database link to brake.  I understand your reasoning, and it's logical... but in this case, that cannot be happening.

So, I'm not sure exactly what's wrong.  It's possible that she is having problems actually posting, which is not updating her post count.  That's why I asked about her OS and browser.

You see, it doesn't matter what you set the number to.  Every time she posts, it just says:
QuoteMySQL,

Member #389 has just made a new post.  Please add one to this members's "posts" column.

Thanks,
YaBB SE

And so if you set it to "400" it should be "401" next time she posts.

Things did work fine for her with her initial account.  I will collect the information you requested and let you know what it is.

As it turns out, she's on vacation.  If she gets back after this board closes on the 31st, may I still e-mail you about this?
