Moderators - own membergroup?

Problem Description:
Sorry to post so many questions, but I figured I'd do them all in a batch when I still remembered them

So, I tried to make a Moderators-only board, but my mods can't see it. I made a category only visible to membergroup 'Moderator', but they can't see it. One of my clever mods posted a topic on the mod board by accessing it via the "?board=" variable, so they're not completely locked out... At any rate, they can't see it on the overview. Is this because 'Moderator' really isn't a membergroup, but an attribute assigned to a member? I mean, I have another board that's only visible to another manually set membergroup, and they see it all right.

Yes, this is the case.  What most people do, and indeed what I have done, is create a group and put their moderators inside it.  Then, use this for category permissions.

The problem is that some of the Moderators are members of another membergroup, and need to be. But I guess I'll just have to wait for SMF, then

Or you could look for the Allowed User mod.
