im a noob and dnt know where to start can some1 give me a link for a good free host and wat do i need to make the forum

But there *are* Hosting Boards both here (in the locked section) and over at simplemachines.org (active).

Basically, a host with adequate PHP and MySQL installations (see the top of http://www.yabbse.org/download.php), which rules out most free hosts. But some folk have made it all work with free hosts, so start by checking the hosting boards!
