No.  Copyrights reflect only those years software was developed; changing it would actually be a bad thing.

YaBB SE was developed between those years.  You'll notice Windows 2003's copyright statement is 1985 to 2003... not to 2004.  I believe XP's is to 2001, and Windows 2000's is to 1999.  Those do not move either.

The years do not reflect how long the copyright is VALID, but rather under which years the copyright was MADE.
