Mysql Error

Problem Description:
Hello
I'm trying to install yabbse on Apache 2.0 but when i get to the part of the installation when you have to enter infomation about the mySQL server it says:

Unable to use the provided database, yabbse!

Please double check this information, and try again. Remember, some hosts add a prefix to your database name.

Im sure i followed the instructions properly and i enterd the infomation correctly. Can any one help me install yabbse?

Make sure the database is already created.  Sometimes it cannot create the database on it's own.  Also, make sure that the user you are using to access the database has permissions on that database.

i tryed to create the database my self and still it neaver worked. umm...How do i create a user to use with mysql which i can use with yabbse?

Well what username are you using?  You could just use root, since root will have permissions on all databases.

Make sure you double check your info, your server for your database should be localhost or 127.0.0.1 and then double check that you typed in the correct database name.

Also, a phpinfo on your server might be helpful unless it is not accessible from the net.

i tryed to ligin with root and now it says:
Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: '[email protected]' (Using password: YES) in /usr/local/apache2/home/yabbse/install.php on line 351

Cannot connect to database server with given data!

Hey now i got past the connecting to mysql server but it gets stuck on createing a administrator account. it says

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /usr/local/apache2/home/yabbse/install.php on line 659
Unable to connect to the MySQL server. Check your password and try again.
