Can anyone help me installing YaBB se on f2s????

You do know that F2S will be shutting down its free hotsing service in february.

but give me a bit to see how to do it on my site at f2s.

Yeah i know that, and I got a new host, but my new host is building new servers, so it ist down for 1 or 2 week's. But i'm addicted to YaBB Se!!

That's my prob

LOL, well then you should install in on your local comp.

i did. http://24.102.92.108/YaBBse/index.php On win98se, installed apache, php, and mysql and it was a breeze. 1 minute to do.

but i'll see how the F2S install goes.

Problem solved!

But, there is another problem!

When i log in and i change the page, i'm not logged in any longer!

Im useing Win 2000 Ie 5 and Win xp IE 6

What the hell is the problem?

Please help me

It seems you have filled out the wrong addy in the installer/converter somewhere.

Go to the settings.php and there you can correct the problem by changing the addresses. Remove the "www.bigbensch.f2s.com/" part from the start of one of your variables...since it is trying to acces files on the server disk directly, not via the web.

Make sure to CHMOD your files once you have them uploaded or else the settings.php file won't be able to be updated.

I just CHMOD'd everything to 777.

YaBBSE works just fine on f2s.com
