[Beta 1.5.3]Alternative MessageIndex sort

::Use::
Gives you the ability to order all fields in MessageIndex ascending or descending!
You can sort by Subject, Started by, Replies, Views or Last post.

::Download::
Please note that the zip file contains two Mods:
  • (altMI_pic.mod)Up and Down arrows beside the fields! Needs two pics to be copied to 'YaBBImages' folder. (see pic)
  • (altMI.mod)Drop down menu above the 'Jump to' menu. (see pic)
(1)::ZIPFILE::

(2)::ZIPFILE::Same as above .. but will sort all pages not only the first one.

::Notes::
!use with BoardMod.
!only install one of the Mods.

I like the up down arrow style.... might try something like that in 1.6.0 - with an option to have the box too, of course.

Hmmm... mind if I include some elements in the next version of YaBB SE... if it's implemented?

Bug or conflict with another mod ?

I have built in this mod, and it works.

For members.....

When I look at the board as a guest, and I go to the MessageIndex and click on a topic, I get the message "you are not allowed in here" ($txt[1] in english.lng)

When I click on the topic through the last-post-icon, I get access to the topic without a problem.

When I compare the 2 URL's I see :

http://www.salesplaza.nl/forum/index.php?board=;action=display;threadid=12964

and the URL that works shows :

http://www.salesplaza.nl/forum/index.php?board=12;action=display;threadid=12964;start=new;boardseen=1

As you can see, the boardnumber is not filled in.

My question, is this a little bug, or what ?

I tried to reinstall this mod 4 times, and I get the same error every time, so it is a bug or a conflict with another mod......

Help ??

Your forum seems heavy moded! It may be some other Mods that conflict with mine .. though I doubt this is the case.. could you please send me the MessageIndex.php that you added the Mod to .. I want to have a look if there is some conflict.

Oooh! I was just thinking a week or two ago that this was a feature needed in YaBB SE, but I never got around to working on it myself. Now I won't have to! I'm gonna go install it on my test board... ;D
