blank page in 1.53

After a few weeks of normal function, now, on any first visit to my Yabbse 1.53 forum index page,
http://www.evergreen-outfitters.com/forum/index.php,
all I (and other users) see is a blank page.  On refresh, the forum appears.

The phpinfo page at my hosting server is
http://www.dr2.net/phpinfo.php,
but (coincidentally or not) I cannot reach that page or the alternate URL the host suggested I try:
http://zeus.dr2.net/phpinfo.php

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Try turning output compression off.

Thanks.  That seems to have worked.  For the benefit of future readers, you can turn off output compression via admin -> Installed 'Mods' Settings and Options.
