How do I fix this?

I'm letting a friend use a YaBBSE I set up and recently his friend tried to change the URL of the forum in

"Forum Preferences and Settings"

well, he clicked on that, and in there, it says, "Board URL". he changed the board URL from

http://members.lycos.co.uk/homegrown898/yabbse
to
http://members.lycos.co.uk/rivalboards/yabbse

i've gotten to forum prefs and settings page, but when i change the URL back to homegrown898, and hit "enter", it says it couldn't find that page, b/c when i hit enter, it tries to go to

http://members.lycos.co.uk/rivalboards/yabbse/index.php?action=modsettings2
instead of
http://members.lycos.co.uk/homegrown898/yabbse/index.php?action=modsettings2
because it tries to go to this, it says "lycos cannot find this page" and you can't view any of the pages on the board

The servers for lycos are always down during the night but are up during the day. So I can't do anything about it until after school tomorrow. Any suggestions?

Download the Settings.php file and alter the url manually, then upload it.
