I just checked & verified that I hve over 100 MB of free space. The database only contains 2 messages. I just installed this board a few days ago to test it.

What can/should I do?

It's not your space that [Unknown]'s talking about.  From the way it sounds, you're on a Linux/Unix platform, which means (typically) that the MySQL databases are on a different mount (usually /var).  Your web host provider needs to increase the size of the mount that the databases are on, since that mount is running out of space.  It sounds like it's a shared virtual server.

Contact your hosting company and ask them to check the free space on the mount that MySQL resides on.

Yes, exactly. I'm on a shared Unix server (Sun).

Would the directory you're talking about be specific to *my* site only .. or would it include databases from *all* virtual sites on that server?

Because I did nothing to add to the database. There is only the default 'Welcome' post, and one test post.

Is the directory running out of space cuz of SOMEONE ELSE's database grew?

Does this mean that everyone using that virtual server is experiencing similar problems?

If this is the case, I would expect others to contact the host.

Thoughts?

Yes, this would be for all sites on the server, talk to your host.
