Update From 1.5.1 Rc

Hello, I have read around but it was not made clear, my questions:

I want to update from 1.5.1 Beta build 45. I download the yabbse_1-5-1_update correct? Then all I have to do is overwrite with the files in that zip and run upgrade.php? I read something about "Dump Database". Can anyone give me details on that and if I should use it. Thank you very much.

Yep!  I had the same version as you (3 boards) and did that same thing.

I would recommend you remove any installed Mods that you have first before running upgrade.php and before you upload the 1.5.1 Final files.  Once you do that and optimize/dump your database, then upload all files contained within the zip package and run upgrade.php.

Before you do a database dump, you should optimize your tables.  Once that's done, do dump your database.  You'll find both of these items in your Admin area, lower left hand side.  Dumping your database gives you a back up of everything within that database, just in case something goes wrong with the upgrade, or if your server crashes.  I actually recommend at least a weekly dump, just for sanity's sake.
