Smtp function problems.

I 'm sure I configured the smtp server address , username , and the password correctly , but when send mail , it always says "Ran into problems sending Mail. Error: 535 Authentication failed. ". I want to know if there are some others authentication type that php dosen't defaultly support , and how to resolve this . Thank you very much.

Not a PHP thing. It's your SMTP server.

Make sure you can login with a regular SMTP client... ie. Outlook.
