YaBB SE 1.5.1 => Problem with Mysql

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with my board. I've update my board to version 1.5.1. and since that I have this error :

Warning: User xxx@ has already more than 'max_user_connections' active connections in /data/www/net/s/i/lost-oasis.net/g/b/forumbg/htdocs/index.php on line 50

This error came after 4 or 5 clicks.

My host tell me that the problem is the connexion with the database (persistent connexion).  

Please someone have an idea what the problem is ?

YaBB SE does not use persistent connections, and this is because they are taxing on servers.

The problem is that your host is not allowing you to connect to the MySQL server more than x times in a day....

By the way, if you talk to your host... tell them their MySQL is way old.  They should at least be using 3.23.54... if not 4.0.12.  (and 4.x is MUCH MUCH faster and less server taxing.)

By the way, when I've used the 1.4.1 version, everything was ok. No error... I really don't understand why now I have these error messages...

My host allow 20 connections to the MySql server.

I had the same problem with my ISP. The limit was set to 20 and when I had more than 10 users on, it was very bad. I did catch the error and print out a nice friendly message "The server is busy, please wait and try again... etc" as the socket errors were freaking everyone out  

Anyway, I've moved to Infodoma and what a lovely place it is
