401.3 errors

I cant seem to even get the installer to work because when i try to run install.php I get a 403.1 error about not having access or somthin bout acl violations can ne1 help me?

401;3 Unauthorized access because of an Access Control List (ACL)

It would have been easier to find that if you said it was IIS. Now, I have no idea what ACL is and I don't like IIS so I will let this one go by me

Ah! I know what that problem is.... I think.

Basically, it either means you haven't given the Internet Guest read permissions in your Inetpub or PHP directory... probably PHP.

Thanx neway guys. I decided to host my forum on lycos. It's free and well it's not a damn windows server. But i think i have problem here too. I get problems like:
2: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 976222 is not allowed to access /data/members/free/tripod/uk/w/d/f/wdforums owned by uid 0
(/data/members/free/tripod/uk/w/d/f/wdforums/htdocs/Sources/Admin.php ln 1151)
Can neone translate this for me into the english language .and not 011010100100001101

I like IIS, and think you're better off on ANYTHING but lycos.
