Using Yabbse counter for other webpages...

  Hi,
I was wondering, I have Yabbse 1.3 on my site, I also have about 30 other webpages. I use an "online counter" for my pages. Is there a way I can incorperate the "online counter" part of the yabbse script into my other webpages? Instead of having 2 seperate counters, one on the board, and one on my html pages. Does anyone knoe if and how it can be done with maybe a ".php include tag" ?

Thanks

I would first strongly urge you to upgrade to 1.4 and then 1.5.1.  There have been many many fixes.

I do this myself....

If you upgrade, you'll note that you can use PHP in your template, thus solving the problem.

I downloaded the newest version of yabbse upgrade. I read the "readme" file. It dont look to hard to upgrade, just uploading and over writing about 20-30 .php files. I did a complete backup of my board on my local drive.  I also, looked at your site (unknown), that is exaclty what Im talking about. May I ask what code you put on the webpages to get the pages to show the counter ?
Thanks

Also,
Can I do a direct upgrade from version 1.3 to 1.5.1 ? Or do I need to upgrade to version 1.4 first ?

You'll have to do 1.4 first.

I'll post the code later, my neck's hurting.  (yes, I realize this is a nonsensical excuse, but it is why....)
