i upgraded my YabbSE 1.4.1 forum to version 1.5.1. the upgrade gave no errors (is it just one step, or should i have done more stuff??)

after the upgrade, when i now open index.php, it gives me this error:

QuoteUnknown column 'b.ID_LAST_TOPIC' in 'on clause'
Bestand: /home/forum4all/public_html/forum/Sources/BoardIndex.php
Regel: 151

could it have something to do with the Memberlist mod i installed a week ago???

can anyone help me out please?

my board: http://tinkl.dhs.org/~forum4all/forum/index.php

Did you overwrite all of your source files with the new 1.5.1 package.  And did you then run upgrade.php?

yes i did. i uploaded all the files, did a CHMOD 666 on all php files and uploaded the graphix in BINARY..

i made an SQL dump of the current corrupted database. could i install a fresh YabbE 1.5.1 and then import the messages and members of the dump into that new empty database?

does anyone know how to acomplish this?

That error is caused by not uploading and running upgrade.php.

Please do so.

i have now installed a fresh 1.5.1 board on a new host and managed to restore all members, catagories, messages..

but when i try to insert my boards, like this :

Quote
INSERT INTO yabbse_boards VALUES('2', '2', 'Nieuws', 'Hier vindt je alle nieuwtjes omtrent het forum. Je kunt hier geen berichten plaatsen, maar er wel op reageren ', '', '0', '12', '228', '1', '0', '0');

it gives me this error:

QuoteMySQL said:

Column count doesn't match value count at row 1

what is going on?

i've got the same problem, but i'am upgrading from 1.5.0 to 1.5.1.

it's the same, i've ran upgrade.php, but after that my board stops working. it seems that there some  problem upgrading the database.

it'll be nice if somebody can fix these problem.

[edit] my problem is solved, i've forgotten to change the db-user to a higher-priviliged one then normally used[/edit]

The problem here is that you are using the update package not the upgrade package.

i installed a fresh copy of YaBB 1.5.1 and managed to read bits and pieces of a dump i made of the database.

i saved
- the messages
- the members

but for some reason the number of posts for each member are incorrect. when i use the Admin option to recalculate the totals, the problem remains. how do i get the actual number of posts for each user???

How are they incorrect?  You actually would have to manually edit it for each member...

how are they incorrect? well, one member for instance had around 650 posts. now she only has about 300 posts. and the same goes for the rest.

is there no way to get the actual numbers there? i mean, the number of posts could be derived from the database right? just a simple query..

how would i accomplish this? i have about 45 members, so it could be done by hand i guess..

Admin can change post counts manually.  You could do that?
