Many many thanks to Unknown for leading and working very hard on all of the 1.5.1 packages. Also to everyone else involved in this project, from administrators to every single user.

One thing you will notice is that this package is no longer released under the terms of the GPL.  The developers felt that while the GPL is a popular license it did not protect the source code as was felt needed.  This does not mean that YaBBSE is no longer open source software.  YaBBSE is and always will be open source software.  The new license was written to meet guidlines for open source certification.

This can't be stressed enough.  BACKUP before you upgrade, just like you should do with any upgrade.  Save your Settings.php file and your template.php file.  Also backup your database.  If you are running 1.5.x use the "Dump Database" tool in your admin center.  Otherwise follow these instructions.

I am running 1.5.1RC1 update 45 and the 1.5.1 Final update package I downloaded today does not have a readme file. Do I follow the instructions from a previous updater package? Do I just upload all the files and run the upgrade.php and will it handle the permissions? I have edited my forum menus, template, etc.
