Where can I find basic information on this site?

Hi!
Well I have been looking for quite a while now and I can't find short basic information about the YaBBSE forum. I usualy can always find that on websites where I can download PHP forums, that is:
- Does YaBBSE forum allow the creation of multiple forums subjects directly on the administrator side?
- Can you BlackList adresses
- Is there a search engine included in the forum?
- Can you upload one or more files like .jpg, .gif etc... and will they show on the message (if the navigator allows the format)?
- How easy is it to install?
- How many languages does it manage?
- Does it use a return mail identification for registration procedure?
- etc.. etc... etc...

I'm sure you will tell me it was just there in front of my eyes but I did not find it... sorry!..

I would recommend reading the FAQ board here for info. As well as post your questions. Other than that there isn't any other pages here about features.

Just a note to say that I have some sympathy with the starter of this topic in looking for a permanent YaBB SE information page, since I'm not convinced that expecting interested newcomers/potential users to swim straight into the thick of the forums to search for information on why they should use this superb product is the most productive form of advertising. IMHO, a single (non-forum) YaBB SE information page summing up its salient features and prominently linked from the home page would be a very good thing!

I couldn't agree more. Some of the other community developers have made an information page, but others don't have. How about switching the link til Yabb 1 gold (I think it's kind of old) with Info. And on that page you will see a list of the features and then a link to an faq ;D

BTW, The Yabb Gold page has a feature[URL] page on their site

Uh oh!  Who made url case sensitive?

I believe you are right.  I have been debating making such a list myself, but I'd prefer to work on my (less-than) secret project.

You can check out this site for basic informations:

Since YaBB SE is the PHP/MySQL clone of the YaBB forum that feature page should apply to this board as well.

Well, if you all are willing, I might be willing to consider drafting this up for YaBB SE, including research on ALL the most common questions.  I can create it in PDF, Doc or HTML format, your choice.  :)

That would be absolutly awesome!

I am working on a support page for this site and could see that to be very useful.  Drop me a PM if you want some more info about it or are feeling even more ambitious about writing other stuff too.  :)
