Okay, try this:

BoardIndex.php:
Find:

Code Select Expand

      WHERE 1
      ORDER BY logTime DESC") or database_error(__FILE__, __LINE__);

Replace:

That fixed it but now it is saying noone is logged on but guests....

I deleted the 0, but it popped right back up whenever I logged back in!

well now it is only showing certain members as online...........  it seems that admins Global mods and any special user groups aren't showing up.......... but it's fine for now........

Since we can't figure out how to get it to work right, how would I go about disabling that portion of the boardindex completely.  It looks bad to have no regular users on, since guests don't know that there is a bug on the system!

to disable that for temporary solution:
open BoardIndex.php, search for

Thanks, looking at the source, I figured it out, I just took out that whole section completely, so it doesn't look weird!

Should I add this bug to sourceforge?

the bug only occurs to 2 people so far
well, i had the bug too, but thats because i forgot to upload some (actually all) of the new source files
after i droped the log_online table, recreateed it, and uploaded the source files everything is fine again

Actually, I just did what you said just now, delete the table, recreate it and then unzip all the source files...and it seems to have fixed it now...so rejoice...now it is only one person with the problem    thanks spaceman!

I did try it before...and it didn't fix it, so as a last recourse I tried it again, and it seems to have worked this time!
