I found a bug with the attachments. But it seems that I am the only one having a prob. When you post an attachment and "Display Attachment as Picture in Post" is checked, it won't let anyone veiw the thread. It works fine when "Display Attachment as Picture in Post" is unchecked though.

Not a bug.  Works for everyone else.

Make sure you have the GD library installed, it might be required.  (anyone know if it is?)

Hi
I helped him install it.
Its version 1.4.1
So far no luck in finding the prob

I uploaded it etc  to the same way I did on my site which is actually the same hosting service too with same plan etc. My forum uploading works great and cant understand why his uploading pics will only display as a file in the post. When you click the file it opens the pic ok and IMG tags work ok.

Sorry but can you explain this GD library?

Thanks for any help. :)

Dont think its anything to do with GD.

Do you have maximum image widths enabled in intalled mods settings and options, if you do get rid of them and all will be fine

Actually, come to think of it.... attachments never quite worked too well in 1.4.1 for me either.

I recommend you use 1.5.1 (which is the version I thought you meant you were using...) because I know it works here.

Uhhh... that reasoning doesn't always work.

There are a _lot_ of security vulnerabilites in 1.4.1, 1.5.0 fixed them - but had a lot of bugs.  So we made 1.5.1, which fixed them.

Save this as phpinfo.php:

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

Upload it to the site and post the URL (something/phpinfo.php) here. Nothing more to it! :)
