Heh .. Wiziwig ain't as anto M$ as I am - ( don't have any of their software running here ;D

The meagre few mods I've done have been YaBBPak made by hand.

Could I persuade you to post some source-code so I can make it work on a proper OS ? ;)

The problem is that I just have them all in my system32 directory.  Let me try to pick them out.

And, jack.... I'd be happy to.  Just let me get the command line version done. (ok, started... whatever)

You will likely also need the Visual C++ libraries, which should be handled in the same manor.

...

Please give me any suggestions or feedback.  (including bugs.)  I thrive on it.

I suppose I should reinstall Visual Studio 6 and compile it, shouldn't I?

.NET Version 1.1 finished.
(added "add folder" functionality)

Any other suggestions?

One idea I have is for it to auto update the package.list file from the .mod file, but I'm not sure....

I would be very greatful if you would recompile it for linux.  Further, any suggestions or changes... just ask.

Quote from: [Unknown] on February 21, 2003, 05:13:36 PMAlthough I'm curious... other than it being a somehwat long download, why would you be less than keen on getting .NET?  It's just like a bigger, slower, less useful version of DirectX.... people get that.

I just don't want to propogate more M$ crap.  I have heard both good and bad things about .NET but I prefer to just leave it alone.  If people stop supporting their way of business, change will happpen.

I guess I was confused by what the application did.  it takes a finished mod and packages it up as a yabbpak... I thought it helped create a mod.. not just package it.  I use PackMan for that.   Nice idea though for those that have not yet gotten the hang of PackMan.

PS.. I downloaded it and the two dll packages and it still give me a "The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000005).  Click on OK to terminate the application" error.

Well, it doesn't seem to want to compile 'out of the box', but you see that a lot with stuff written for the MS compiler  :-\

snap! :-[
Perhaps there's something I could script around the diff command (reprocess it's output) or something. I certainly want something automated now (I made a typo whilst doing a .mod file & couldn't figure out for a while why things stopped workking all of a sudden  :-/)

QuoteI use PackMan for that.
I do at the mo, but a CL version would be easier for me.

Sorry, I guess I shouldn't have succumb to the numerous warning messages that I was using outdated and bad header files.  (to get rid of that, I switched to the C++ Std Lib.... which may be an M$ thing, I don't know.)

Can I offer any assistance?  Feel free to message me about it. (pm, aim, whatever.)

As well, I would be happy to create one that bases itself around diff (and give a link to the windows version of diff, which I have, along with it.) if there is a lot of want for it.
