Never mind, I figured out the problem.

I am running on W2K and IIS.  By providing full drive paths for the location of all boards etc, (e:\myfolder\blah\blah\) I was able to get this to work correctly.

I tried to convert my YaBB 1 Gold SP1.2 to YaBB SE 1.5.1 RC1 (well, the member database, boards, etc.)
I'm on a Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Server.

I got the following notices right on page one:

I decided to proceed regardless, and on page four it timed-out and aborted.
Also I got a gread deal of notices on page four .. far too many to post them all here.

Any ideas or suggestions?
My board is fine btw, just that I got to ask my members to register anew for the YabbSE forum.

I installed the YabbSe released on the 16th

It has Super Mod installed and that is it..

I was unable to get it completed, i got so many erros..

Install super mod AFTER you use the converter.

It will _NOT_ work on a modded board.

just tried this converter yesterday, it worked great
the only error i found is it converts some birthdays into the current day, but its easy to fix (only with 1 query)

is not working. what should I do to convert my YaBB 1 Gold SP 1.2 to YaBB SE. I really dunno any thing about PHP but my server admin says that I must shift from PERL CGI to PHP.
May I use the converter given at download section as that just seem for YaBB 1 Gold??

Compuart! I downloaded your attached file but it says its "YaBB 1 Gold to YaBB SE Converter"

Will it work with YaBB 1 Gold SP 1.2??

It will even work with YaBB1G SP1.3

(and probably also with SP1.4 )

Actually, I got past this problem by using the converter here: http://www.yabbse.org/community/index.php?board=180;action=display;threadid=18294
So I guess I'll post this if this is indeed an error somewhere.

I got this error message (the others are quite long but it all has to do with Unkonwn column tempBoardname.
Any ideas?

There's a query in the first part of step 5 that creates the tempBoardName column:

There must be something going wrong there.

To view what goes wrong you might replace this:

Just a guess, just make sure all paths are set correctly.
