Nice buttons. Question: when making them, does one convert the grey default buttons, or has one to start from scratch?
I would assume most start from scratch.  Although copying the little icons from the grey ones.

Actually most use Ramon Kaes' little icons instead of the ones from SE since they are already seperated and come in several colours already.

Plus they look cool! ;)

These buttons look fantastic!  :)

Is there any chance of getting a chat button for the YaBB menu?

I guess someone should have warned you...  they start crawling out of the woodwork fairly quick.  First there's the crew that also uses YaPP, they need a downloads and a community button.  Then you get some of the YaBB crowd who have a few different mods.  And then the developers here are constantly coming up with new mods that need buttons.  It is definitely the most "Button Intensive" BB I've ever seen.  I'm still going about refusing to aknowledge that I'm going to eventually have to do an "ignored topics" button.

And that brings up another topic.  In all the other Forums software, they've seem to be able to come to a creative alternative to have really long names on buttons.  I've got a bunch of short buttons and then all of the sudden "link to calendar" has to be twice as long as the rest of them, and it really prevents a certain kind of look you can achieve when the buttons are all the same width.  Try typing "help" and "notifications" in the same amount of spacing.  You're either getting too much dead air on one, or the letters are all crammed together on the other.

Don't confuse sarcasm for complaint...   ;)

Don't forget that the only difference between a tragedy and a comedy is that the hero dies in the end of a tragedy.   ;D

Sorry to be fussy......

But could you do the YaBBC buttons (you know, the ones used for Bold, Italics, underline etc in the post screen).
That would be great.

Oh, and GREAT button set by the way ;D

Congratulations...  you totally missed the point.

The idea of the glass buttons is that the glass is blue, and the images and text are embedded in the glass.  The text *is* white.  But the glass is blue.  When you look through the blue glass the white text appears to have a blue tint.  Your version now looks like the cheap $1 store version where someone took blue glass and stamped white text on it.   ::)

Not to mention that you forgot to take the spaces out of the menu bar and put the caps on the left and right.  Try the english.lng file for the menu space, it's towards the bottom.

Tempus I would like to say how truly great i think these buttons are, also thank you for the permission you had given sometime ago to alter them for my own board. I had a small question for you, which font did you use on these, I need a few new buttons and didn't want to have to bother you by asking you to make all kinds of different stuff. If you could let me know i'd appreciate it, thank you.
