But if you haven't changed anything from the default install, ie your images are all in YaBBImages, you shouldn't have to change it.

So your maps are uploaded to:
http://roxette.cs.caltech.edu/runto/forum/YaBBImages/Continent/

If that is true then your images directory should stay at the default setting of ./YaBBImages/ and if you get an error its because your server is running in safemode and doesn't allow the opening of folders through php.
I can look into changing it to work if that restriction is in place but the mod in its current form will not work.

If this hasn't been done already ... I think there should be some wording about the fact that you PHYSICALLY have to click on the map ... where you want your pin.

Also, that you need to click on the map AFTER you've entered which map you want to post on, the city, state and country you live in. If you click on the map and then add the information, your pin won't stay on the map and disappears when you click Save.

Hey Gobalopper...  a lot of folks over in the PfaBB arena have been pretty much sreaming for this one.  Last night I did the conversion and got it working well.  Just need to make sure I have your permissions to release it over there.  

It will be released as a conversion, not a completed mod, and the credits will still read Author: Gobalopper with your email address.  just right below: "Converted to PfaBB by Haase"

I will leave everything in the mod info intact except for those things that specifically need to change.

I think that would be better if members can't fill his "Location" so he will have only the option "Member Map" to do it can I take it out?

Well you could change the input fields to type="hidden" that might do the trick.

Ok my only one regret which I hope you address Gobal, is that when such a similiar mod appeared in yapp,
They had a worldmap included rather than seperate
area maps.

Is there anyway to add a worldmap along with the
other choices so that the default view map would
be a worldmap..

If users wish to see specific maps, they can use the dropdown menu otherwise they see the wholee globe.

What do you think?

A nice size worldmap can make the other maps obsolete!
