Hi, my members are having problems with the forum e-mailing them. The send topic, password reminder, etc does not work. I also see no spot for the location to sendmail, could this be the problem? Thanks
Update: For some reason this is not an option that you configure through the web. I downloaded settings.php and found the sendmail location. It was correct. I have no idea what is going on.

It uses PHP's mail function.  That field in Settings.php no longer holds.

Check your php.ini.

php.ini is something you should have on your server.

In linux, it's in /var I think.  On windows, it's usually in C:\WINDOWS or C:\PHP.

Every time and way I try to run the converter.php file it always gives me warnings and says it can't find files. I installed the newest yabbse and had the newest yabb before, how come it isn't working and what can I do to fix it?

Have you tried Compuart's newer, better converter?  You can find it in the Converter Help section.

If you have any problems, feel free to post about them - we can help.

ok... there's something REALLY wrong on yabbse 1.5.1 I tried the last build 44 from my webhost and it was successfull but whenever I tried to login to the forums and click "home" link on the menu, it brings me to the default page and yet it says "Hello Guest please login or register" wtf, i refreshed it 10 times and its still no good, i had to relog again. I tried the new build 45 and hoped that it would be fixed but no luck.. 1.5.0 seems to be fine though, there's a real bug happening i dont know what it is but it really is annoying me.. it only happens when you go back to your forums, but if you are logged and you clicked on a board, it recognizes your name but on the main forum page it says "hello guest" wtf? Anyone experiencing this problem too?

When I try to dump my tables and data from the Administration section, I only get a partial output.  I assume that's because of some SQL timeout.  Is there a way to fix this?  I would love to use this feature instead of phpMyAdmin to do the dirty work  ;D

If your forum backup is in excess of 5MB or so then the php.ini may be restricting the download...

I used the upgrade.php file, and everything went good, but then it said "Fixing Settings.php" and after I couldnt do anything.

I just wernt back to my forum homepage...funny thing is, everything seems to be working, and in the Admin Panel, it says my version is 1.5.1 RC1.
