Thanks, but your link gave me a really messed up script.
I was able to decipher enough to find out what I had to look for from the mod file.
That did the trick, thanks!

Just one little thing that annoys me (hehe, cos of my sig!) is that in Camino the signatures have a little space between images that should be on top of one another (eg. the dood walking on my sig pic, in Camino he is floating! ;)). I checked several browsers and Camino seems to be the only one to pick up the bug. It isn't really a browser issue as I tried out my signature on various board systems to see how it looked elsewhere and all the major boards displayed it correctly in all browsers (actually even Boardnation's YSE variant displayed it perfectly fine). I'll post some screenshots if someone persues this tiny bug and wants to see what exactly I mean.

I'm just concerned because my plans for a new sig are a bit more advanced (hopefully faster loading though) and currently it will look useless in Camino.

Glad to see the linebreaks in the Profile signature display are now gone, good work! It used to really mess up my signature! :) (Oh, just in case you aren't sure the profile display has the same floating bug).

Not a biggy, but I s'pose it helps to report everything.

The issue is the way YaBB SE is surrounding your text.

<font size="1"><img src="http://www.kineticpast.com/spc.gif" alt="" border="0" width="190" height="1" /><img src="http://www.kineticpast.com/dood.gif" alt="" border="0" /><br /><img src="http://www.kineticpast.com/sig.gif" alt="" border="0" /><br /><font size="1"><b>&gt; &quot;We have seen strange things today.&quot; Luke 5:26 &lt;</b></font></font>

Notice the embedded font element?  Bad mojo.  Probably caused by the bold bb code...

The SEARCH function is still buggy. When you look for "search", you get results that include "searching", "research", "researcher" etc.

Surely that's by design? ::)

My God! Are you serious, Peter? A buggy search function by design???  :'(

I don't see how that's buggy.

If you want the search feature to go, say.... 5000x slower, and probably make your server keel over everytime it's ran.... I can fix it.

Anyone interested? :P

And yes, I am serious about it being _much_ slower.

No, not buggy by design, but able to match your search string as part of a word by design! So one search will do for 'bug', 'bugs' and 'buggy', for example... :)

Search function does what is required. Amazed some people complain that it works! Or even claim that it's buggy!

Just updated from 44 to 45 and having one prob that I know of. When you click on a forum subject that indicates new posts and then backspace out(without posting) to the forum index page I get this
QuoteWarning: Page has Expired The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you.

To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button.
I tried it on my other computer as well which shares the same internet connection but it does the same.

It doseant do it if the forum subject indicates there are no new posts.

Ive looked back through the posts since build 45 was announced for people with the same prob but couldnt see any(mind you my eyes are tired lOL )

I'm not a technical person, but this appears to be a browser issue. I'm running a 1.4.1 and a 1.5.1 RC45, and do not have the problem.

As it states in the error message, it seems related to your browser cache settings, rather than the forum itself.

Christian Land posted that if you disable you output cache, (in the settings of admin area, I think), then this should help prevent the issue.

Thanks but that didnt work.
Very strange as I didnt have it b4 I updated from 44 to 45

I asked a member to try the same with IE5.5 and she had no trouble at all. So I deleted my cookies, history, closed and restarted the browser with no luck.
My other computer sharing the ISP connection has the same version of IE6 which are both updated etc and is doing the same thing.

refreshing the browser leads to a prompt that says the information has to be resent abd then it goes back to the forum index ok.
Oh well if its my browsers then I will look into that more I guess.. Any help here would be appreciated :)

I've just checked my own forums and found that output caching is on for both, and I don't any problems. Have you checked the setting both ways? Btw - I also have compressed output on, for what it's worth.
