QuoteIf so, what is this code for:

   echo '
   <form action="' . $self . '?step=2" method="post">
      <input type="hidden" name="installdir" id="installdir" value="' . $HTTP_POST_VARS['installdir'] . '" />
      <input type="submit" value="Proceed >" />
   </form>';

Because that's what I *thought* it did.  Is anyone else having this problem?

-[Unknown]

Yep, I'm having it, too - always had it with the upgrade-packages.
I've been going to the next step manually eversince.

Posted it in another thread though ;).
Honestly, I can't think of why this happens with me, too.

Best regards,
VSG

is it just me or is there a problem with the speed of opening threads?

the frontpage, categories, admin etc. all run fine but when I click on a thread it takes forever to open it...

you can check it out at http://www.awug.dk/community/

Do you have image size limiting on?  Did you read the BOLD warning message?

It's in 'Mods' Settings and Options, and is almost always the cause of slow threads.

As Unknown said, try disabling that - As the warning message below that feature says, it can in some cases drastically reduce speed.

why not just remove that feature from future builds, all it does is causes trouble and is pointless.

I got a quick question.....

when a guests posts on my board, thier messages show.  No prob there.  But then thier name is crossed out and it says "this user has been banned or removed" on the bottom of thier post.

And no, the disallow guest is not flagged.

Perhaps you have not had one of your users post a 2024 x 1400 massive screen flooding image then eh?
I wish rather that yabb could auto resize images in real time than to force images to be displayed within a determined size setting. For now I either leave that option off and contend with the users who dont know how to resize images and do that for them or set that on and contend with the thread lags.

That's from my mod zombie, this is not a yabb issue. If you read the posts in Supermod another user ran into this. This is caused if you allow guests to post. Contact me in my test board http://www.clubmasa.com/YSESupermod/ and I'll workup a undo mod if you are allowing your guests to post. (actually I might not wait for you, check the archive directory under requested undo mods. http://www.clubmasa.com/archives
