I used the save install pacakge (i recommended this to all) I don't have any problem at all

I checked and double checked the settings.  The uploads can now be found.  

However when I try to upload I get the following error?

the directory home/virtual/site48/fst/var/www/html/yabbse/attachments

Does exsist?  I am now really confused.

Try /home/virtual/site48/fst/var/www/html/yabbse/attachments (note the first /!!)

Killer Possum, please use the upgrade or update package.  Neither should contain a settings.php.

I AM using the Update Package... but when I run the upgrade.php the settings (i.e. cookie name) get reset to the default. So to keep it the same I always download the current setting.php for my board, then update, the upload the settings so that all the settings stay the same. I'm wondering if it's ok to use the same settings.php or if I need to use the new one that gets regenerated I guess

I don't think anything has changed so it should be fine to upload your backup over the generated one.

Hi there,

I just updated to v45 from one of the earlier builds (not sure which one), and I'm having a few problems. Most importantly, whenever I go to the forum index it says that every single user that has registered for the boards is currently logged in. Any idea what could cause that?

Yep I ran upgrade.php, the forum looks completely upgraded with the new features, but the online list is just weird. Here, perhaps you could take a quick look?

You removed the copyright - did you pay for it ?

The copyright should still be there- at least I see it... at the bottom, you mean? Also I noticed that the user list only shows up when I'm logged in, so it's either something with that or it was an earlier error that is still displaying because my ISP caches stuff and doesn't show newer pages for the life of it, or I'm not sure what's wrong. Strange....

The solution was to drop the log_online table, recreate it with the 1.5.1 schema:

DROP TABLE {$db_prefix}log_online;

CREATE TABLE {$db_prefix}log_online (
 identity int(11) unsigned NOT NULL,
 logTime bigint(20) default NULL,
 KEY logTime (logTime),
 PRIMARY KEY (identity)
) TYPE=MyISAM;

Execute that SQL. (replace {$db_prefix} with your prefix.)

It may fix the problem.

Btw - I just installed 1.5.1 RC45.

I closed the browser window. Then tried the forum link.

It won't let me log in, yet lists my name as already logged on - as well as a guest for everytime I access the forum to try and log in.

EDIT - However, if I try to post I am automatically logged in - but the member tally remains the same. I figure that's what the quote related to.

The memberlist thing is not a big deal.
