Oscar, please upload fader.js again in ASCII mode.

Gobalopper, that setting effects Notifcations, not IM emails.

c3uc3, can you give a link and phpinfo?

It happens to me as well.  VERY odd.

This would happen if IE were to decide the cookie has already expired.... hmmm....

The weird thing is, it seems to be the main page that's causing the problem.

So say, I go back to the index.php, it requires me to login however, if I click on any of the links about, e.g. home, it'll show that I am actually login once again.

Re-uploading fader.js again in ASCII didnt help but as soon as I removed the Yabb hyperlink tags and urls in the news fader it gives no errors.
I can still show hyperlinks in the news like this forum does without page loading errors  but not with the news fader option activated.
No big deal but if a simple fix is obvious , it would be appreciated :)

still having the login cookie problem.
Can't stay login forever.

Everytime I go to another url outside of the forum, when i go back to the forum on the same window, ask me to login again.

Changed cookie name before but it doesn 't work.

How come it works on this YaBB SE forum here?

Any advise?

Do you have a counter or other script that may set a cookie running other than YaBBSE?

Pretty sure that there is none other cookie than the YabbSE forum one on my site.

It's pretty blank since I got a new server.

Killer Possum, I moved your post to Feedback.

Oscar, I've tested with tags and it seems to work.  What tags did you use that caused the problem?

The news fader problem has been found.  It happens when trans sid is on, and it causes PHPSESSID to be written into the links.

Sorry to all those I told to reupload fader.js.  I sincerely thought it to be the problem.

Yeah, but I'm lost as to how to fix it.  My only idea is to disable trans sid's at the start....

Louis, are you sure there are that many problems?  What is the fully qualified version of your MySQL

Well, it's not that many probs - it's more or less the same in all tables:
MySQL 3.22.29 does not allow
- keys not defined as NOT NULL
- BLOB columns (like tinytext) defined as key

That's why I added some "default '0' not null" and changed some columns from tinytext to varchar. And I checked every table definition seperately (good to have phpmyadmin ;)) - just to be sure...
