Okay, this will cause some problems - but you _should_ be able to login.

ALTER TABLE yabbse_log_online CHANGE identity identity INT(11) unsigned;

This is not build 40.  Further, it looks as if you might have a MySQL version to low for YaBB SE.  Please post in the support boards.

Please try downloading the 41 installer, and make sure your PHP and MySQL versions are up to the requirements... (MySQL 3.22 and PHP 4.1)

http://www.ttl-tech.co.uk/phpinfo.php

I think my PHP version is down a little but MySQL seems above board, I do not have direct control over the server software, it is managed by my ISP.

should the PHP version affect the MySQL import though?

Also where do i download the 41 release- i cant see it in download section  ???

You are talking in the thread for it!!! Look at the first post - here: http://www.yabbse.org/community/index.php?board=9;action=display;threadid=17909.

Very odd, it is complaining about column types that 3.23 would NOT complain about.  Might try the 41 version...

QuoteBLOB column 'identity' can't be used in key specification
This error ONLY occurs with 3.22, and was fixed in 40.

Does anyone else still get duplicate values in their yabbse_settings table for latestRealName, memberCount, and latestMember?

I've done that but when I looked just now it is still duplicating. Using MySQL 3.23.

Turns out the key wasn't set as primary like it should be. Maybe upgrade.php missed that?

i had to delete all the duplicates, then set the `variable` to primary key
the sql code is:
ALTER TABLE `yabbse_settings` ADD PRIMARY KEY(variable(30));
u cant run the code when u still have duplicates
thats maybe why the upgrade doesnt work well
