[Tested Beta 1.5.1] Global Moderator Center [unofficial]

This is a rewrite of the previous (now with permission)Global Moderator Center Mod by Chris Cromer.  I only wrote it due to the fact that my global moderators were complaining that I took what power they had away.

Tested on a clean install of 1.5.1RC1 - works perfectly.

Changes:
Renamed Gmod.php -> GmodCenter.php (trying to lower chance of mod conflict).
Upgraded all the code in GmodCenter.php to 1.5.x's standards.
Upgraded the mod's sources to work with 1.5.x and brought up to standards.
Replaced the large dbmod.php file with a shorter, sweeter one line SQL file.
Created a YaBBpak with the graphic and SQL to make installation a breeze.

Notes:
If the SQL file fails but you've had the mod installed before, simply ignore it.  It's trying to add the mod's settings which were not removed when you upgraded.

Package Server: http://gbaetc.homeip.net/yypack
Yabbpak: http://gbaetc.homeip.net/yypack/globalmodcenter.mod.yp
Boardmod: http://gbaetc.homeip.net/yypack/globalmodcenter.zip

This looks like the old one... some of the text is back in double quotes, etc.  The one in my zip file is fine - I checked.  However it is named "globalmodcenter" not "globalcenter," perhaps you tryed the old one?

In that file, you double global $modSettings (it's already there in 1.5) and your syntax is back out of the 1.5 convention in places.

I suppose both would work however so it matters not.

No problem... I do it all the time.  And I hope (can't tell on the web) you weren't insulted or anything... that I also do all the time (:-[).

Anyway, I hope this mod is useful... anyone have any other ideas for a mod?  I'm want to try to do a bigger project now.  (all the ones I've done seem small and insignifigant...)

Does the rewrite has the same security Problems like the old one?

If a board has Administratorboards, can the Globalmod read them?

It is a fairly literal conversion.... but some parts I took out, as they were already in 1.5..... so I don't know.

I'll check on it - it would be better to ask the orignianl author.  (Chris Cromer, to my sources)

It really pisses me off that you idiots go ahead and rewrite and alter my software without even asking me. I have gone over this time and time again, don't alter my mods or distribute them without asking me and getting the ok about it. >:(

I put unofficial, and I gave you full credit... plus, I didn't know how to contact you.  If you want it'll be gone in the snap of a finger.

My email is available to everyone, [email protected] it's in my profile. :P

Just leave it up for now, but for now on show some respect to the mod creators and ask before you do such things again, plus you could have pmed me through the board it didn't require an email or an im.

All I had was "<author>Chris Cromer</author>" in a mod file... I really didn't know what your username would be here.  I had downloaded the mod from the YaBBpak server like a year and a half ago.

After I upgraded to 1.5, my gms complained so I simply ported it to 1.5.... and I figured that you wouldn't mind Then I saw your username.... but you hadn't been online for quite a time.  Usually when that happens, it means the person is gonna be gone for a while - I've had it happen quite a few times.

Really, if someone ported one of my mods I'd be fine with it... not at all to suggest I don't understand that you are annoyed.... it's just that my whole way of working with and not offending people only works in real life... I'm actually quite good at figuring some people out, and I rarely make enemies.  Online is a different story, so I kinda figure everyone is like me until proven otherwise.

Regardless, I shouldn't go on.  I only wanted those who had used the old global moderator center to be able to use it in 1.5 - with no changes. (you can check, I left everything that wasn't already in 1.5 alone.)  I didn't know if you'd be back to answer any of my emails or pms, and I really apologise for any concerns it has caused.

I am very sorry.... apparently I'm very bad at this.  Maybe I should just stop with this whole 'trying to help the YaBBSE community' thing.... I've got enough to do as it is.

Thank you for understanding... and I will remember that most people do not appreciate this,
