I had no problems installing this one. I just tested it on another server.  No issues there either.

Still wont get past that file permissions for me.

If i replace the install.php with that from the coppermine site.. then it continues to the mysql bit.

Still cant get this mod to work. It keeps complaining about dir/file permissions. I have double checked these and they are correct.

When I download the gallery from the coppermine site, it installs fine.

What changes have there been made to the Install.php?

Things to do
CHMOD 777 these directories:
- gallery root directory (where this installer file is located)
- userpics directory (inside 'albums' directory)
- include directory

this part is only a reminder, if u have done it, u can ignore it and press the Lets go button

DO NOT use the installer from original Coppermine script
because u'll find lots of different things

I get this error:

Could not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values enteredI did not  entered any...   where van I enter the SQL values?

u should install this mod in a subdirectory of YSE
because it will search for YSE Settings.php in the parent directory

when i pressed "lets go".. it just keeps coming back to the same page "change permissions... press lets go"

I only tried the coppermine installer to see if i was going mad or not

no other error message but that same page keep on showing over and over again?

I installed it manually, works fine. This reminder message will not go away because you defined the action for the 'Let's gi' button incorrectly.

really? which part of it is incorrect?
i tried installing it in a forum, and it works okay without any problems...

The part in which the script says you must check the permissions of gallery root etc. I set the permissions definitely correct but the installer script hangs there. After that, I copied the SQL Structure, inserted it manually and made my own config.inc.php - with this it's all fine. Maybe the script has some problems with different envoirements...

thats weird...
maybe one of the image function detection script doesnt work well...

if u wanna check the configs go to the admin section
check everything, and click Save
and the config.inc.php will be saved properly

Seems to work. No errors anyways  

I can create new album.. but i cant see anywhere to add photos to it? (I am admin btw)

I have done the above.

I can create albums ok. But dont seem to have an option of uploading pictures (unless i have gone blind.. mad or both   )

u'll only see that if u're logged in as an admin in YSE
