Ok me one more time ;D:

How can I make only admins upload pictures? When I uncheck "Allow users to upload pictures" even I (the admin :P) cant upload pictures :(!

And: why dont I have a comment-field where users can fill in their comment. I have "allow users users to post comments" enabled!

I installed and have been customizing this mod tonight for my site...

I gotta say, for as complex a mod as this, it was incredibly straightforward to install with the instructions provided...

This has got to rank up there with one of the best mods around...Incredible work!!

Now if I can keep my bandwidth from skyrocketing i'll be set!

Check out db_input.php - Make sure that you have uploaded it as an ASCII file not binary.

and check that the path in it is ok

I have to go out now, but I thought it might help :)

Good luck.

When I try to put <yabb galleryBodyTag> into the body tag it takes away my bg color. This is what my body tag looks like:

<body bgcolor="#e85c00" onLoad="MM_preloadImages('template/template_r3_c8_f2.jpg','template/template_r5_c9_f2.jpg',
'template/template_r7_c9_f2.jpg','template/template_r10_c7_f2.jpg',
'template/template_r12_c5_f2.jpg','template/template_r14_c4_f2.jpg',
'template/template_r16_c3_f2.jpg');">

I don't know if the preloaded images have anything to do with this problem. My bg color is orange and after I put the gallery body tag in between the body tag it turns white.

Hi,

First of all, can I say to anybody that has had to put the paths in, the best way to sort this problem is to change the paths in the YaBBSE Admin centre - not in the settings file for the gallery.

Changing it in the admin center also sorts out the need to not have a duplicate template.html file in the gallerry root.

The rest of the problems are associated with the place you put the tags in the template.

If your gallery CSS isnt working, its to do with <yabb galleryHeader> place this directly before </head>

I have replicated your problem diva, and the way I solved it was to place the tag at the end of the body not at the beginning.

so your body tag should be

<body bgcolor="#e85c00" onLoad="MM_preloadImages('template/template_r3_c8_f2.jpg','template/template_r5_c9_f2.jpg',
'template/template_r7_c9_f2.jpg','template/template_r10_c7_f2.jpg',
'template/template_r12_c5_f2.jpg','template/template_r14_c4_f2.jpg',
'template/template_r16_c3_f2.jpg');" <yabb galleryBodyTag> >

I hope this helps.

Guus - have you sorted out your problem with the comments field yet?

If no, then maybe changing the paths in the yabbse admin centre will help. and also reverting your paths in the init php file - back to the original source.

I hope this helps.

Guus,

Can you post a link - or send and IM to me - to see if I can see anything that stands out?

Tony.

I cannot get my gallery to embed into my board. When I click on gallery it just goes to http:www.mysite.com/community/gallery/

I did everything right. I am wondering if the preloaded images in my body tag has anything to do with it (per my earlier post)?
