Oh, if you guys would rather have the list of users currently in chat listed down where users online are let me know and I will change the code to do that.

Would be great if you could give me that code and tell me where to change it.

Just move the JavaScript code in template.php to somewhere on the bottom of your template. You can also add it to any other pages. Doesn't necessarily have to be in your yabb template files.

a few of my members dont seem to be able to get into this chat. tried various things.. still no luck

wanted to try maybe a normal irc client?

my room has a password/key on it.. and the irc client complains about +k key incorrect

how do i join a password protected room?

thought it was /join #roomname +kpassword

How do i force the html client to be used? I just want a few of my members to use it (as the java one wont work for them)

double click the room, and set a password for it in the setup.

i already have a room password which is automatically entered when my members go to chat via my yabb board.

the problem is.. i have a few members who cant get in with the java client. Just want to know how to get the htm one to work.

need to use members_comma.js rather then members.js

members_comma.js uses a comma to seperate the names rather then one long list.

should just be /join #roomname thepassword

most irc clients will prompte dyou for a password if the room is asking for it.

members.js will do a vertcle list using tables
Example:

members_comma.js doe s alist using comma seperation.

I'm working on an update to the mod that will allow you to select the language from mod settings as well as select the applet size and font size. I will see about putting in the option to having the chat user list appearing at the top or bottom as well.

Since I use text instead of images, how can I get the chat icon to appear as text like everything else?

Try changing this line in the subs.php

$yymenu .= "$menusep<a href=\"$cgi;action=chat;user=$euser\" target=_blank><img src=\"$imagesdir/chat.gif\" alt=\"Chat\" border=\"0\"></a>";

to this:

$yymenu .= "$menusep<a href=\"$cgi;action=chat;user=$euser\" target=_blank>Chat</a>";

Let me know if it works okay.

Works great thanks. One other problem,, I get this everytime I go to my site, at the bottom left hand corner it states Done, but with errors on page. I double click it and this comes up:

Make sure the text in your template looks like this:
